Frances Parks James, age 76 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at her home in Davidson County.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. Kevin Haynes. Burial will follow at the Byerly Cemetery.
Frances was born October 19, 1936 in Forsyth County to Lindsay Marion Parks and Lou Mittie Key Parks. Frances was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sons; Billy Joe Duggins, Rodger Dale Duggins and Johnny Sterling Rayson.
Surviving are her husband Roger Lee James of the home, her sons; Luther Sterling Rayson Jr. of Winston Salem, Jamie Lee James (Amy) of Reedy Creek, her daughters; Laura Rayson Shankle (Larry), Linda Rayson Cooper (Jim), Dawn James Baker and Maxie Martin Callahan all of Reedy Creek and Sonya Rayson Haynes (Kevin) of Coats, NC, her sisters; Ruby Hicks (Harold) of Arcadia, Flossie Holder of King, Thirty grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great – great grandchildren.
Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
