Frances Ann Jernigan, 67, of Nottingham Dr., Lexington died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Hinkle Hospice House after an extended illness.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 26, 2014 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers, and Rhonda, Grief Counselor with Hospice officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jernigan was born December 6, 1946 in Horry County, SC to Robert Lee Williams, Sr. and Fannie Mae Williams. She was a cashier for Lowe’s Home Improvement and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Johnnie C. Jernigan, Jr.
Surviving are a son, Michael “Mike” Jernigan (Jatana) of Southmont; former daughter-in-law, Dawn Jenkins (Jeff) of Lexington who graciously cared for her; seven grandchildren, Matthew Jernigan (Chelsea), Ashley Jernigan, Carrie Jernigan Maner (Derek), Devon Jernigan, Jordyn Jernigan, Dylan Jernigan, Leanna Hildebrand; one great grandchild, Starlette Jernigan; two brothers, John Williams (Martha) of Winston-Salem, Harvey Williams (Cathy) of Lexington; and a sister, Frankie Bailey of Loris, SC.
