Frances Mae Mize Goss, 82, of Rockcrusher Road, died Monday, October 03, 2011, at her home after declining health of 2 and ½ years.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Billy Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
Mrs. Goss was born October 13, 1928, in Davidson County, to Lee F. Mize and Viola Younts Mize. She retired after 30 years service in the packaging department of Henry Link Furniture. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Graham Goss; daughter, Bonnie Gail Goss Hoffman; brother, Floyd Mize; sister, Mable Tussey; grandson, Michael Lee Hoffman.
Surviving are sons, Jimmy Goss of Lexington; grandson, Justin Michael Causey; granddaughters, Tiffany Gail Causey and Addison Nicole Goss.
