Frances Naomi Beck

Frances Naomi Beck, 87, of Brookstone Retirement Center, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at the center. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Revs. Lowell Askins and John Pace. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Beck was born in Davidson County on April 1, 1918, to Harvey Samuel Beck and Lillie Clatie Shoaf Beck. She was a graduate of Lexington High School and Jones Business College in High Point. She was a member of Reeds Baptist Church and a retired employee of Proctor and Schwartz. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Harvey Paul Beck, in 1981. Surviving are a niece, Charm Cecil of Lexington; a great-niece, Cameron Morgan Cecil of Lexington; a great-nephew, Matthew Ethan Cecil and his wife, Jody, of Conover; and one sister-in-law, Margaret E. Beck of Lexington The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday before service at the funeral home.
