Frances Ray Edwards Sink

Frances Ray Edwards Sink, 82, of Brookgreen Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Derek Boggs. Burial will be in Pilgrim Lutheran Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sink was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Cabarrus County to George Walter Edwards and Edna Whitstocks Edwards. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Sink. Surviving are two sons, Randel Sink and his wife, Carolyn, of New Hill and Samuel Sink and his wife, Sharon, of Archdale; three grandchildren, Shelley Sink, Makesha Sink and Heidi O'Neal; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Magaret Malary of Charlotte. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor. Memorials may be made to Davidson County Cancer Services, 25 W.
