Frances Rothrock

Edna “Frances” Shoaf Rothrock, 90, a resident of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her residence. Frances was born in Davidson County on June 1, 1931 to the late Thomas and Ida Shoaf. She retired from PPG Industries after many years of service. Frances loved to work in her yard and take care of her flowers. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Rothrock.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Chuck Ireson officiating. The family will greet friends after the service at the cemetery.

Frances is survived by her grandchildren, John Rothrock of Lexington and Jennifer Rothrock of Winston-Salem; a daughter-in-law, Linda Rothrock; a brother, Robert Shoaf (Sue) of Lexington; a sister, Margie Vanhoy (Larry) of Mooresville; and a sister-in-law, Cynthia Shoaf of Lexington.
