Frances Sturdivant

Frances Mize Hege Sturdivant, age 78, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 21, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lexington with the Revs. JC Miles and Wayne Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home on Hickory Tree Road and other times at the home.

Mrs. Sturdivant was born in Davidson County on December 1, 1939 to Lawrence William Hege Sr. and Nora Mize Hege. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lexington where she was a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and a board member (treasure/secretary). Mrs. Sturdivant was a very loving a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus throughout her entire life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence William Hege Jr.

Surviving are her loving husband, Ronald Grey Sturdivant of the home; son, David Sturdivant of Lexington; daughter, Tamara Sturdivant Dudney of Lexington; three sisters, Lucy Hege Higgins (Doug) of Winston Salem, Nancy Hege Leonard of Lexington, and Janet Hege Freeman (Gary) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Heather Sturdivant Clodfelter (Joe), Andrew Sturdivant, and Mackenzie Dudney; one great-granddaughter, Madison Sturdivant; and a host of nieces and nephews.
