Frances Weaver Thompson Younts

Mrs. Frances Weaver Thompson Younts, age 88, of Southmont, NC died Friday, September 21, 2012, in Columbia, South Carolina. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 23, at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Southmont. Mrs. Younts was born February 3, 1924, in Davidson County, to Osco Weaver and Ruth Ford Weaver. She was a retired Sales Clerk with Belks Department Store in Charlotte and was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. She was married to Edgar W. Younts who died February 10, 1994. She is survived by sons, Rev. Henry Jackson Younts and wife Judy of Blythewood, SC and Eddie Thompson of Lexington; sister, Linda Lou Manning of Lexington; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Davidson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
