Francis Charles Miller

Francis Charles Miller, 85, of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Keever Drive, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Lexington Health Care. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in East Sidney, N.Y. Mr. Miller was born March 17, 1921, to Charles Alonzo Miller and Leah Vail Miller. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a tank commander in the Army and participating in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a retired employee of Amphenol in Sidney, N.Y. He was of the Presbyterian faith and was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Surviving are his wife, Marion Ruling Miller of the home; one son, Ronald Miller and his wife, Janice, of Wells Bridge, N.Y.; three daughters, Patricia Jones and Harry Pownall Jr., of Pinehurst, and Sheran Sweet and her husband, Steve, and Vickie Alexander and her husband, Danny, all of Denton; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
