Frank Brown, Jr.

Frank Brown, Jr., fondly known as “Mamaw”, 68, of Clemmons, NC formerly of Martha Town, West Virginia departed his life on Saturday, December 26, 2020 after a short illness.

There will be no services planned per Mr. Brown's request.

He was born on May 31, 1952, and was the son of the late Frank Brown and Gladys Hopkins Brown.

Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ray Brown.

He was a retired coal miner from West Virginia.

Those left to cherish his memory include the love of his life, his wife, Brenda Gibson Brown; his son, Christopher Brown (Laurie) of South Charleston, WV; daughters, Stephanie Brown (Patrick) of Beckley, WV; Annette Nifong (Tim) of Lexington, NC and Lora Warner (Paul) of Madison, WV; brother, Michael Brown (Jane) of Hedgesville, WV and his sister, Billie Joyce Brown of Clemmons, NC; his grandchildren: Alexandria, Abigail, Haleigh, Emma, Brayden, Michael and Hannah; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 S. Danny Thomas Blvd., Memphis, TN 38105
