Franklin Gilbert Gardner, age 78 of South NC Highway 150, Lexington passed away Wednesday morning (March 11, 2015) at High Point Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday (March 13, 2015) in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Buddy Davidson officiating. Burial will be 2:00 pm Monday at Roselawn Memorial Park in Princeton, W.VA. There will be no public visitation.
Frank was born in Fayette County, W.VA. December 2, 1936 to Spotwood Franklin and Elsie Vandell Gardner. He was a retired employee of G.W. Smith Lumber Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; and all of his brothers.
Frank is survived by his wife Carolyn Davidson Gardner of the home; daughter, Theresa Gardner Titman and husband Jay of Damascus, VA; son, Jeff Gardenr of Pocahontas, Va; step-son, Sean Davidson and wife Sabrina of Nemours, W. VA; grandchildren, SummerJade Coleman, Zackary and Nicholas Titman and Cagney Gardner; great-grandchildren, Ashton Chafin and Chloe Titman; sister, Mary Gardner Smith of Chicago, IL; half-sister, Annie Nealy of Oakhill, W.VA.
