William Frank Hepler, 93, of Robert Beck Road, died Monday, March 31, 2014, at his home.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Darrell Cartrett. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors by Davidson County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home of his niece, Betty Green, on Robert Beck Road.
Mr. Hepler was born June 8, 1920, in Davie County to C.B. Hepler and Fannie Messick Hepler. He was a retired farmer raising chickens for Holly Farms. Frank honorably served his country in the U.S. Army where he was in the military police from 1941 to 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Baxter Hepler; and sisters Nettie Snider, Gladys Hepler, Retta Rattz and Pauline Myers.
Surviving are brother Bobby Hepler and sister Clara Myers, both of Mocksville; four nieces; seven nephews; 10 great-nieces and nephews; 11 great-great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-great nephews.
