Frank Michael Sperber

Frank Michael Sperber 61 of Arcadia passed away Tuesday evening, October 11, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Frank was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on October 20, 1949 to Ralph Gus Sperber, Sr. and Virginia Farley Sperber. He was an electrician with Forsyth Technical Community College. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by a sister Joanne Lynn Hiester. He is survived by his parents of Reading, PA and his wife of 37 years Diane Degler Sperber of the home; two daughters, Lara Sperber Ball of the home, Cassandra Sperber Bullins (Chuck) of Pfafftown; one brother, Ralph Gus Sperber, Jr. (Cindy) of Winston-Salem; one sister, Barbara Ann Zillhardt (Paul) of Reading, PA; and two grandchildren, Luke and Grant. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
