Frank Wilburn Thrower Jr.

Frank Wilburn Thrower Jr., 61, of Lincoln Street, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at his home.   A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitch Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.   Mr. Thrower was born November 20, 1955, in Richmond County, to Frank Wilburn Thrower Sr. and Louise Chisolm Thrower. He was a member of Cameronian Presbyterian Church and employed at Dairy Fresh. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Jane Thrower Dawkins.   Surviving are his loving wife Karen Thrower of the home; stepdaughters, Angie Haynes Tysinger (Brandon) of Lexington and Allyson Haynes Ellis (Kris) of Welcome; step-grandchildren, Krysta Ellis and Kyndal Ellis; sisters, Brenda Thrower Lampley (Mitch) of Rockingham and Pat Thrower Capel of Orangeburg, SC; and brother-in-law, Wayne Dawkins of Rockingham.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Workshop of Davidson, 275 Monroe Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
