Frank Junior Weant

Frank Junior Weant, 87, formerly of Andrew Sink Road, passed away Friday February 24, 2023 at Lexington Health Care in Lexington. A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday March 1, 2023 at Reeds United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Graham officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service. Mr. Weant was born January 20, 1936 in Rowan County to Daniel Odell Weant and Carmon Honeycutt Weant. Frank was a member of Reeds Methodist Church, retired from Burlington Furniture and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Norine Sink Wofford Weant, his daughter, Jeannie Byerly and son-in-law, Larry McCullough; granddaughter, Lori Byerly and grandson, Andrew Wilson. Surviving is his son, Tony Wofford (Pam) of Lexington; three daughters, Peggy McCullough, Sherry Wilson (Jeffrey) all of Lexington, and Lisa Williams of Winston Salem, son-in-law, James Byerly of Lexington; one brother, Roy D. Weant (Evelyn) of China Grove; 6 grandchildren, Greg Byerly (Karen), Josh McCullough (Jen), Dee Dee Lanier (Cory), Adam Wilson (Stacey), Jeremy Williams (Jess) and Johnathan Williams (Layla); 11 great-grandchildren, Caleb Byerly, Z Baker, Keegan McCullough, Archer Wilson, Kash McCullough, Daisy Williams, Carter Lanier, Bellamy Wilson, Jaclynn, Madelynn and Olivia Williams; several nieces and nephews.
