Frank Adolphus “Bucky” Young Jr., 70, of Young Road, died Friday, September 10, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center following a three month illness. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2010, at Beck’s Lutheran Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Knight officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home on Young Road. Mr. Young was born June 29, 1940, in Davidson County, to Frank Adolphus Young Sr. and Pauline Beck Young. He was a retired truck driver for Hedrick Brothers Lumber Company and attended The Arbor Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Brenda Gibson Young of the home; sons, Tony Young and wife, Libby, of Wilmington, Edward Young and wife, Ann, Frankie Young and wife, Stephanie, all of Lexington, and Stevie Young of Holly Springs; and 10 grandchildren, Mary Beth, Haley, Austin, Katie, Kevin, David, Jordan, Noah, Ryder and Christopher.
