Mrs. Frankie Hodges Ring, age 82 of Koontz Road, Lexington, NC died Wednesday, January 1 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. David Robinson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ring was born December 12, 1931 in Chester County South Carolina to Colon Edward Hodges and Dora Dorsey Hodges. She was retired from Dixie Furniture and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as two sons; Colon Evans and David Evans
Surviving are her husband, Artie James Ring of the home, one son, Ken Evans and wife Debbie of Lexington, Three daughters; Brenda Evans of Lexington, Luty Alford and husband Curtis of the home and Frankie Goodman and husband Kenny of Landis, two sisters; Lula Clary of South Carolina and Lillian Griffin of Kentucky, as well as 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
