Frankie Virginia Trantham

Frankie Virginia Lanning Trantham, 82, of Jersey Church Road, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center after a period of declining health. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Todd officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Mrs. Trantham was born February 27, 1932, in Davidson County, to Thaddeus Luther Lanning and Maudie Esther Cross Lanning. She was retired from the sewing room at Lexington Furniture Industries and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Jack Trantham Jr. who died in March 2014; and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd Jack Trantham of the home; grandchildren, Brian Trantham and wife Elizabeth and Andy Trantham, all of Lexington; great-grandchildren, Karrington Trantham, Nicholas Trantham and Peyton Trantham.
