Franklin Gray Mcbride

Franklin Gray McBride age 72 of Hartley Road, Mocksville, died suddenly Friday January, 22, at his residence . Frank was born July 2, 1937 in Davidson County, to William Gray and Nancy Viola Barnes McBride. He was a retired construction superintendent, living and working for many years in California; in his later career he was superintendent on many jobs in North and South Carolina. He was married to Barbara Morgan McBride who preceded him in death on January, 30, 2001, and was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and four sisters. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 27, in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Kip McBride, with burial to follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Salisbury, N.C. Frank is survived by two sons, Darryl McBride and wife Mala of Mocksville, and Sean McBride and wife Sharon of Coats, N.C.; two granddaughters Sarah and Kelley McBride of Coats; two brothers Bill McBride and wife Betty of Churchland and Don McBride of Nokomis, Florida ; and one sister Wilma Smith of Lexington. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel and other times at the home of his son Darryl, 207 Applewood Rd., Mocksville, N.C.
