Franklin Junior Poole

Franklin Junior Poole, age 74, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at Lexington Hospital.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, October 2 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Hickory Tree Road, Winston-Salem, NC by Pastor Loyd Taylor. The family will receive friends after the service.  Masks and social distancing are requested.  The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome

Junior was born in Davidson County on December 20, 1946 to Ben Franklin Poole and Juanita Dorsett Poole Grubb. He retired from Caracon Construction Company and was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Cathy Barlow.

Surviving are his wife; Shirley Johnson Poole of the home, son; James “Chris” Poole, sister Nancy Wood, two grandchildren; Austin Poole and Taylor Poole. Step son; Ricky Hinson, step daughters; Lisa Ely (Jay), Susy Latham (Bryan).
