Franklin William Redner, 82, of Cullen Court, died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at his home.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Rev. Carl Lindquist.
Mr. Redner was born in Harrisonburg, Va., on Aug. 27, 1924, to William Carl Redner and Gladys Sarah Ritchie Redner. He was former owner and operator of Queen Village Cleaners and a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was past master of Hoffman Masonic Lodge in Middletown, N.Y., and past member ot Binghamton Lodge 177. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dolores Mae Radivoy Redner, who died June 9, 2003.
Surviving are one son, Steven K. Redner of the home; one daughter, Deborah Felock and her husband, Tom, of Salisbury; two granddaughters, Amanda and Lauren Felock; one brother, Earl Redner of Reading, Pa.; and his sister, Ruth Weyant of Appomattox, Va.
The family will greet friends following the service.
