Fred Barry Chappell

Fred Barry Chappell, age 65 of Trantham Drive in Lexington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, May 1 ^st at New Vision Baptist Church Cemetery in Clemmons with Pastor Mike Duffield officiating.

Mr. Chappell was born on April 5, 1956 in Marion County, Florida to George Barry Chappell and Nell Prine Hammond.  Barry was an avid University of Florida Gator fan and retired from J & L Cable.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeannetti Faye Woosley Chappell, of the home; nephew, Tyler Woosley, of Lexington; brother, Stephen D. Chappell, of VA, sister, Denise Moorman (Buddy) of Ocala, FL, and brothers, John McLeod (Kelly) of OH and Mike Chappell (Kim).
