Fred Thomas Finney

Fred Thomas Finney, 75, of Tussey Avenue, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Lexington Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lexington City Cemetery by Elder Danny Sams. Mr. Finney was born in Wilkes County Dec. 3, 1931, to Fred Finney and Leota Wallace Finney. He was retired from Lexington Home Brands. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Briggs Finney. Surviving are one son, Tim Finney of Lexington; one daughter, Kathy Troutman and her husband, Terry, of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Laurie Troutman Williams and her husband, Ian, of Raleigh and Steven Troutman of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the home on Tussey Avenue.
