Fred Hale Sink Sr.

Fred Hale Sink Sr. 93 of Grimes Circle, Lexington passed away Thursday February 4, 2010 at Hinkle Hospice Home. A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Sunday February 7, 2010 at 1st Baptist Church Chapel conducted by Dr. Ray Howell III and Rev. Tommy Wilson. Mr. Sink was born December 24, 1916 in Davidson County to John Andrews Sink and Effie Pearl Lopp Sink. He was a retired self employed Carpenter and a member of 1st Baptist Church. His parents, wife, Sarah Virginia Barnes Sink and 7 brothers and sisters preceded him in death. He honorably served his country in WWII in the army. Surviving are his sons: Fred H. Sink Jr. and Jeff Sink both of Linwood and daughters: Sarah Beth Sink and Kelly Sink both of Mooresville, NC. 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. C.C. Corn of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the memorial service in the church parlor. Memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice Home 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292
