Freda Lorraine Means White

Freda Lorraine Means White of Lexington passed away Saturday night at her home with family by her side. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday July 19, 2011. There will be no public visitation. Mrs. White was born September 12 to Homer Ross Means and Beulah Parsons Means. She was retired from Owens-Illinois Inc. A member of the Triad Decorative Painters Society. Lorraine enjoyed life, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and her for love for painting. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Dewey Means, her sisters; Mary Sisson and Pauline Chandler. She is survived by her husband of 46 years George Lewis White of the home, her daughters; Deborah Underwood (Howard) of Barboursville, WV, Bonnie Adkins of Lexington, her grandchildren; Sherry Burger of Huntington, WV, Jonathan Duncan of Milton, WV, Jennifer Greer of Nashville, TN, Juliet Duncan of Baltimore, MD, her great grandchildren; Elizabeth Burger and Emily Burger. In lieu of flowers send memorials to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington ,NC 27292 Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
