Freddie Scott Everhart

Freddie Scott Everhart, 84, of E. Highway 64 in Lexington, passed away Wednesday March 25, 2026.

A graveside service will be held 3pm Friday March 27, 2026, at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ with Rev. Richard Moore officiating services.

There will be no formal visitation.

Mr. Everhart was born January 30, 1942, in Caswell County to Freddie Shuford Everhart and Frances Perry Everhart. Freddie was a dedicated brick mason who worked hard for 40 years to achieve perfection. He loved to ride horses and did so most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Wayne Everhart and a sister, Ella Brown.

Surviving are his two daughters, Tina Poindexter (Gene) of Lexington and Amy Everhart of Lexington; one sister Patsy Hedrick; 3 grandchildren, Lottie June Norris, Luka Alexander Tharp and Liam Alesandro Tharp; and his partner of 17 years, Frances Beck.
