Frederick Steven "Rick" Pruitt

Frederick Steven Pruitt, 36, of North Rotary Drive, High Point died Sunday October 26, 2008 at High Point Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Holloways Baptist Church, with the Rev. Craig Barnhill officiating. Mr. Pruitt was born July 7, 1972 in LaPorte County, Indiana to Frederick James Pruitt and Caroline McCarthy Pruitt. He was a member of Holloways Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Pebble Cooper Pruitt of the home; three step-daughters, Amber Gravino of High Point, Ariel Gravino of Shallotte and Jordan Dunn of Salisbury; his father of Arkansas; his mother Caroline McCarthy of North Carolina; a brother, Mike Pruitt and his wife, Yvette, of Lexington; and a sister Criscina Funk and her husband, Jim, of Virginia. Also surviving is a niece, Dayna Pruitt of Georgia; and nephews, Michael Daoust of Georgia, Dustin Pruitt of Lexington and Matthew Funk of Virginia. The family will receive friends from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the church fellowship hall prior to the service.
