Gabby Berrier

  Vestal “Gabby” Andrew Berrier, age 69, of Haden Grove Church Road passed away Wednesday morning at his home.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Higher Ground Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.    Gabby was born on November 14, 1947 in Davidson County to Wade Phillip Berrier and Esther Byerly Berrier. He was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church and was a true family man and farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, and two sisters.     Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Holloman Berrier of the home; his son, Danny Berrier (Rita) of Linwood; four daughters, Anna Woodbury (Rodney) of Lexington, Lisa Berrier of the home, Angela Brown of Linwood, and Kimberly Berrier of the home; one brother, Sherman Berrier (Peggy) of Denton; seven grandchildren, Grace, Danny Jr., Briana, Crystina, Andrew, Chase, and Logan; four great grandchildren, CJ, Kayden, Sophia, and Emeri; and one great grandchild on the way.   Memorials may be directed to Higher Ground Baptist Church at 1351 Lamb Road Lexington, NC 27295.
