Gail Hill

Gail Hill, 55, of Charity Lane, Linwood died April 12, 2007, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Clyde Akers and the Rev. Glenn Sanford. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Mrs. Hill was born April 24, 1951, in Davidson County to James William Huffman and Annie Ruth Holloway Huffman. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, preceded in death by her parents, brothers Allen, Glenn and Everette Huffman and half brothers, Herman and Carl Huffman. Surviving are her husband, Dois Michael Hill of the home; son, Michael Paul Minton and fiancée, Julia Lynn Miller, of Lexington; daughter, Lisa Dawn Minton of the home; Grandchild; Hayley Breann Minton, brothers; Larry Huffman, J.R. Huffman, J.W. Huffman, Tommy Huffman, all of Lexington; half brother; Jay Huffman of Lexington; sisters; Gladys Brinkley, Barbara Sue Norman, both of Lexington, and Irene Roberts of Denton; half sisters, Naomi Martin of Lexington and Ruth Lue Simpson of Jasper, Ala.; The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Friday, prior to the service and other times at the home.
