Gail Leonard Hutchins

Evelyn Gail Leonard Hutchins, 88, of W. Center Street Ext. passed away Wednesday November 5, 2025, at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rev. Gary Gibson officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Hutchins was born June 11, 1937, in Davidson County to Harold Franklin Leonard and Geneva Hunt Leonard. She was a member of Reeds Methodist Church and loved working in her flowers, playing the piano and spending time with her grandchildren and her special four-legged friend Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Brantley Hutchins and her brother Harold Wayne Leonard.

Surviving is her son Ricky Hutchins (JoAnn) of Lexington; her daughter Tammy Hedrick (Robbie) of Lexington; a sister, Sylvia Foster (Roger) of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Brandon Hutchins (Brooke), Misty Hege (Vance), Brooke Hutchins Coffey (Chevy) and Josh Hedrick (Gina); 7 great-grandchildren, Seth Hutchins, Dakota Hege, Cole Hutchins, Faith Hege, Ellie Hedrick, Gunter Hedrick and Mali Coffey.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Zoanna Albaugh, Pam Duncan, Gayla McDaniel and Pat Dimery.
