Gail Camelyn Surratt

Gail Camelyn Surratt, age 77 of Salem Terrace, Winston Salem passed away Monday morning, August 21, 2017 at Lexington Health Care.  An inurnment graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 25, 2017 at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Miller officiating.  Gail was born in Davidson County March 20, 1940 to George Lee Surratt and Margaret Phelps Surratt. She was retired from customer service with Wal Mart and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Doris Jean Everhart, Lorraine Burke and Jayne Walser; brother, Ray Surratt.  Surviving are her daughter, Ginger Surratt of Washington State; son, Christopher Surratt of Winston Salem; grandchildren, Dominique, Daylon, Jacob and Blaze; sisters, Hazel Shook (Bill) of Ocean View, DE, Sylvia Surratt of Lexington, Leigh Ann Del Guerico (Tommy) of Regalsville, PA; brothers, Randy Surratt, Jerry Surratt (Betty) and Robert Surratt all of Lexington and Jimmy Surratt (Sue) of Moore, OK and many nieces and nephews.
