Garland Keith James

Garland Keith James, 67, of Ted R. Daniels Road, Lexington  passed away at his home.   A funeral service will be held Noon Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating.  Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery with military graveside rites by Davidson County Honor Guard.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday night January 18, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home.   Mr. James was born February 27, 1949 in Davidson County to Foy Lee James and Ethel Mae Hartman James.  He was retired from James Heating and Air and was of the Baptist faith.  Garland was a Veteran, having served in the US Army. Preceding him in death was his parents, and a brother, Glenn James on December 2, 2016.   Surviving are four brothers, Grady James (Shirley) of Clemmons, Melvin James (Shirley) Vernon James, Van James all of Lexington and numerous Nieces and Nephews.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Davidson County Honor Guard, P.O.
