Garland Thomas Kennedy, 75, of Robert Hargrave Rd, died Saturday June 6, 2026, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Health of Lexinaton after a Sudden decline in health.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

A memorial service will be held the following day at 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2026, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lance Scarlet officiating.

Born March 10, 1951 in Guilford county to Delmar and Irene Kennedy. He was of Baptist Faith.

Survived by two daughters; Sherry Kennedy, of Grover and Lynn Kennedy of Lexington; multiple siblings, Delores Smith, Edith Parker, Hazel Hale, Nancy Dowdy, Steve Kennedy, Mike Kennedy; seven grandchildren, Justin Lamb, Lyndsey Millner, Lily Ervin, Kristen Conner, Ashley Irvin, Christopher Irvin, Elizabeth Irvin, and Christopher Vaden; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Janice; sister, Rachel; brother, David; and both his parents.
