Gary Douglas Blake

Gary Douglas Blake, age 57 of Heather Circle, Lexington passed away Monday night (9-14-2009) at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Friday (9-18-2009) at Salisbury National Cemetery, where burial will follow. Gary was born April 18, 1952 in Guilford County, NC to Harvey Hillard Blake and Faye James Blake. He was a brick mason, and a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are: wife, Tami Gustafson Blake of the home; two daughters, Alicia Blake and Shelia Blake Nobles both of Lexington; one son David Blake of Lexington; one granddaughter, Lindsey Dawn Nobles; his mother, Faye James Cates of Durham; his father, Harvey Hillard Blake of McLeansville; three sisters, Karen Ann Ross of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kathy Blake of Greensboro and Susan Hindman of Durham; four brothers, Harvey H. Blake, Jr., of McLeansville, Randy and Terry Blake of Greensboro and Eddie Hall of Durham. There will be no formal visitation.
