Gary Carlton Burrow

Gary Carlton Burrow of Midway, passed away Thursday March 5, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday March 8, 2009 at Midway United Methodist Church with Pastor John Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Burrow was born in Davidson County on June 25, 1951 to Chester Carlton Burrow and Mildred Sink Burrow. He was employed with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. He was a member of Midway Methodist Church and also played in the Moravian band. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Kathy Whitehurst Burrow of the home, sons; Jason Carlton Burrow and friend Savannah, Jonathan James Burrow and wife Valerie all of Midway. Brother; Larry Franklin Burrow of Midway. Niece, Linda Leonard and husband Grayson;and Nephew, Scotty Burrow and wife Sherry all of Midway. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday March 7, 2009 in the Christian Fellowship Center of Midway United Methodist Church.
