Gary George Goulding Sr., 61, of Old Walker Town Road, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, at The Lutheran Home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Reformed Church by the Rev. Barry Surratt.
Mr. Goulding was born in San Francisco, Calif., on Nov. 27 1947, to Frances Joseph Goulding and Delores Urbanus Goulding. He was a retired employee with Lee Manufacturing Co. He served the country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Robbins Goulding of Kingston, Tenn.; three sons; Gary George Goulding Jr., of Kirkland, Wash., Noah Eugene Goulding of Shoreline, Wash., and Samuel Duncan Goulding of South Dakota; two daughters, Candace Cuningham and Athene Goulding Godbey, both of Lexington; four brothers, Gene Goulding of Roseburg, Ore., Wayne Goulding Sr. of Patterson, Calif., Todd Goulding of Petaluma, Calif., and Charlie Fitch of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Carol Arroyo of Kirkland, Wash., and Ann Goulding Nugent of Las Vegas, Nev.; and eight grandchildren.
No formal visitation will be held.
