Gary Dalton Hilliard

Gary Dalton Hilliard, 64, of Old Linwood Road, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Pastor Dana Stack officiating. Burial with military graveside rites by Davidson County Honor Guard will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mr. Hilliard was born October 23, 1948, in Davidson County, to William Hilliard and Virginia Ridenhour Hilliard. He was a self employed truck driver and had served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Hilliard. Surviving are his loving wife, Brenda Owens Hilliard of the home; son, Stevie Hilliard and wife, Michelle, of Lexington; daughter, Tina Hilliard of Lexington; grandchildren, Devin, Landon, Preston, Lilly, Sebastian, Taylin; brother, Ricky Hilliard and wife, Ann, of Lexington; sisters, Fern Hilliard Warner and husband, Greg, of Lexington, and Debbie Citrano and husband, Bob, of Wilmington; and niece Cheryl Burns and husband, Charlie, of Lexington.
