Gary Lee Jarrett

Gary Lee Jarrett, 69, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the WFBH-Lexington Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the First Assembly of God in Lexington with Pastor Vernon Richmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and face coverings will be required.

Mr. Jarrett will lie in state from 2 pm until 5 pm on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home and from 9:30 am until 10 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Church prior to the service. The family will not be present.

Mr. Jarrett was born in Davidson County on August 8, 1951 to Lacy Lee Jarrett and Barbara Call Jarrett. He was a retired electrician, having worked for the City of Lexington and a member of the First Assembly of God. Mr. Jarrett was also retired from the Army National Guard and was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Blake.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Cooper Jarrett of the home; his two daughters, Christa Crews (Joshua) and Tabitha Cassada (Eugene) all of Lexington; his mother, Barbara Call Jarrett of Lexington; his brother, Mark Kendall Jarrett (Vickie) of Lexington; and nine grandchildren, Kristen, Dakota, Hunter, Kaleb, MaKenzi, Jarrett, Ryleigh, Jenna, and Kenzley.
