Gary Michael Parker

Gary Michael Parker, 64, of Bob Callicutt Drive, died June 3, 2017, at his home.  There will be no public service, however, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Mr. Parker was born April 17, 1952, in Cherokee County, to Charles Dean Parker and Betty Sue Love Parker. He was an employee at PPG in the trucking department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading and visiting with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Rickie Parker.  Surviving are his daughters, Brandy Mayfield (John) and Carmen McLeod (Tim), all of Lexington; grandchildren, Michael Tarter, Ivy Brucker, Emily Brucker, Liberty McLeod, and Maddie McLeod; brothers, Rodney Parker, Keith Parker and Stacey Parker and the mother of his children, Paula Brooks.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Paula Brooks at 167 Brooks Road, Lexington, NC 27295; or a charity of the donor’s choice.
