Gary Alvin Shaw

Gary Alvin Shaw, age 56, of Lexington died suddenly Saturday (6-22-2013) at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. A graveside service will be held, 11 A.M. Wednesday June 26, 2013 at Forest Hill Memorial Park by Pastor Mike Duffield. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 P.M. at Davidson Funeral Home, and other times at the home. Gary was born in Davidson County on August 20 1956 to Gray Alvin Shaw and Lovelyn Phillips Shaw. He formerly worked for Republic Mortgage Insurance, before his retirement due to his health. He attended Frontline Ministries. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife Tia Lisa Shaw of the home; sons; Gregory Alvin Shaw(LeAnn) of Walkertown, Donnie Shaw(Nikki) of Lexington, and Kory Allen Barr of the home; brothers, Bill and Rick Shaw; sister Wanda Bailey of Lexington; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; special nephew Michael Shaw; his son’s mother ,Wanda Wilson and special friend Tony Smith.
