George Franklin Bailey Jr.

George Franklin Bailey Jr, 61, of 1911 Marion Circle, passed away on March 2, 2022 at Hinkle House of Davidson County.

George was born on September 26, 1960 in Davidson County, the youngest of six children, to George Bailey Sr. and Evelyn Huffman. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Randy Bailey.

George married on March 27, 1990 to Becky Bailey, who survives of the home. Also surviving are his 4 children: Sharen (Phillip) Leonard, Kim (Larry) Duncan, Denise (Brian) Jordan, and Danny (Crystal) Bailey, all of Lexington; two brothers and sisters: Larry and Rob Bailey, Barbara Murphy, and Peggy Freeman; and George’s greatest treasures, his 10 grandchildren: Gracie Duncan, Hunter Leonard, Jocelyn Jordan, Robert Leonard, Logan Jordan, Bailey Leonard, Keira Jordan, Coree Monk, Destani Monk and Karissa Monk.

George was a hard working family man who retired from Lexington Furniture.
