George Julian Burr

George Julian Burr, 65, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House.

There are no formal services at this time.

Julian was born on November 6, 1957, in Winterhaven, FL to the late George Lawrence Burr III and Carol Craycraft Buckley. He retired from BB&Tas a Sr. Vice President after working for thirty years with the company. As a long-time member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church, he attended whenever he could. Julian was known for his great sense of humor and kind nature. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his niece and adopted daughter and son, Cheryl Bailey and husband Scotty, of Lexington; brothers, Lesly Julien and wife Trina, of FL, Duke Burr of FL, and Larry Burr, of Franklin; sisters, Vickie Burr, of FL, and Jo Fran Burr Schroder and husband Daryl, of MS; and grandnieces Dawson Pennington, and Riley Bailey.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
