George Edward Hedrick

George Edward Hedrick, age 75 passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home with family by his side. A celebration of life and a time of greeting family & friends will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. David Hedrick. George was born October 28, 1940 in Davidson County to John Emmett Hedrick and Dorothy Tucker Hedrick. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and had retired with R J Reynolds with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Cathryn Hedrick, brother; John E. Hedrick Jr. Surviving are his wife Mary Davis Hedrick of the home, sons; George Edward “Eddie”Hedrick, Jr. and wife Sarah of Lake Park, GA, Matthew Daniel Hedrick and wife Sandy of Mint Hill, NC, sister; Francis Hedrick Hayes of Winston-Salem, grandchildren; Ashton Hedrick, Kayla Hedrick and Molly Hedrick.
