George Thomas Langley

George Thomas Langley, 86, of Tyro Road in Lexington, passed away Saturday June 22, 2024 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday June 27, 2024 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with Pastor Bill O’Neil officiating services. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at 10:00-11:00am

Mr. Langley was born September 30, 1937 in Davidson County to George Robert Langley and Etta Snider Langley. George loved listening to gospel music and sharing the Gospel at rest homes through his ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bruce Langley (Gail) Daniel Langley (Rebecca) and Onnie Langley (Paula); and a sister, Mary Lee Stokes (Bill).

Surviving is his wife, Thelma Royall Langley, of the home; one son Dale Langley (Debbie) of Lexington; two daughters, Debbie Dellinger of Lexington and Kay Mock (Charles) of Lexington and 5 grandchildren, Charla D. Anderson (Ben), Dillon Mock (Clara), Lydia Mock, Andrew Langley and Savannah Langley and 1 great-grandchild, Bliss Adams
