George Franklin “Frankie” Prince, 53, of Wildlife Road, died Monday, June 14, 2010, at his home following an extended illness.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Purdue officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Mr. Prince was born April 26, 1957, in Nash County, to Herman Prince and Betty Estelle King Prince. He was a truck driver at Old South Transportation and a volunteer at Central Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Marie Blanton Prince of the home; sons, Cody Leonard and wife, Becky, Brandon Prince and wife, Terri, all of Lexington, and Jonathan Prince and wife, Stephanie, of Arizona; stepson, James Green of Fayetteville; stepdaughter, JoAnna Brown and husband, Shane, of Yadkinville; six grandchildren; and brothers, Charles Prince and wife, Lesley, of Lexington and Howard Prince and wife, Cheryl, of North Wilkesboro.
