Georgia Frances Hege Kiger 86 of Welcome passed away at her home on Thursday afternoon, June 26, 2014.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. Jason Koontz officiating. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
Georgia was born in Davidson County on November 16, 1927 to the late Nova Daniel Hege and Claudia Frances Leonard Hege. She worked as a Merle Norman beauty consultant and housewife and was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death also by her husband James Franklin Kiger (2009); a son, Donald Wayne Hill and a brother, John Daniel Hege.
Surviving are son and caregivers Charles (Bud) and Lane Hill of the home; twin daughters, Lenda Naimoli (Vince) and Glenda Young all of Tampa, FL; a stepdaughter, Gail Rademan and friend Michael Wirsing of FL; daughter-in-law, Terri Hill of Wallburg; grandchildren, Dr. Lindsey Naimoli of Palm Beach, FL, Glenna Smith (JP) of FL., Elaina Koontz (Jason), Ronald Hill (Wendy) and Jason Hill (Jennifer); eleven great-grandchildren, Chaz Hill, Ty Hill, Garrett Hill, Maddie and Abbie Hill, Olivia, Nova and Hannah Koontz, Charlotte, Whitney and Ben Pickard (Florida). Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and so very very special friends that she loved so much, also special caregivers Shelia Clontz and Andrae Neal.
