Georgia Anna Mcbride

Georgia Myers McBride, 69, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, January 7, 2023, at North Lexington Baptist Church, with Dr. Robert Floyd and Rev. Gavin Pratt officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM – 10AM at the church prior to the funeral.

Georgia was born on January 3, 1954, in Davidson County, to Mr. John William Myers and the late Georgia Brown Myers. She retired from PPG and was a member of North Lexington Baptist Church. Georgia was known to be a sweet and loving woman who loved her family and the Lord. She was also a lover of flowers and loved her dogs. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda McBride Haga.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of fifty years, David McBride of the home; son, Timothy McBride, of the home; father, John William "Bill" Myers; brothers, Tony Myers and wife, Nancy of Charlotte, and Johnny Myers, of Lexington; grandchildren, Erin Malloy and husband, Walter, of High Point, Rebecca Darnell, of KY, and Travis Haga Jr.; great grandchildren, Vincent Darnell, Aaron Darnell, and Legend Malloy; sister in law, Linda Perryman and husband, Gene, of Midway; niece, Allie Myers; nephews, Austin Myers, Rusty Perryman, and Andrew Perryman; and her fur babies, Baby Girl, Mandy, and Beasley.
