Georgia Myers age 91, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Brookstone Retirement Center.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at North Lexington Baptist Church with Pastor Gavin Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, one hour prior to service.

Georgia was born in Davidson County December 1, 1930, to William Howard Brown and Clara Haynes Brown. Georgia was a member of North Lexington Baptist Church for 80 years. She also operated a small day care service out of her home for fifty years. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Joseph Terry, William Howard, Erenst Carl, Stewart Rabb Myers, sister Mina Mae Brown Swicegood and one grandchild; Amanda Haga.

She is survived by her husband, John William Myers, sons Johnny Dean Myers, Tony Ray Myers (Nancy), daughter Georgia Ann McBride (David), 3 grandchildren; Timothy Wayne McBride, Alexandra P. Myers, Austin C. Myers, 3 great-grandchildren; Travis Jr. Haga, Rebecca Darnell, Erin Malloy and 3 great great-grandchildren.
