Gerald Allen Leihenseder

M/Sgt. Gerald Allen (Scott) Leihenseder, USMC Retired, age 75 of Cotswold Ave, passed away early Friday (2-21-14) at Moses Cone Hospital. A memorial graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday March 11, at Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors. Inurnment will follow in the columbarium. Visitation will be held 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Scott was born January 29, 1939 in Peoria IL to Harold Fredrick Leihenseder and Dorothy Amelia Wells Leihenseder. He retired from the United States Marine Corp having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by son, Max Leihensdeder (Mary) of Linwood; daughter, Jackie Leihenseder of Huntington Beach CA; stepsons, Kenny Wright (Karen) and Kevin Wright (Allison) all of Linwood; six grandchildren, and a brother, Bill Leihenseder of IL.
