Gerald Wayne Walser, 51, of Tussey Road, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at his home with a sudden illness.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shiloh United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Revs. Matthew S. Farabow, Clyde Akers and Douglas Butler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Walser was born Jan. 15, 1955, in Davidson County to Lester Junior Walser and Pansy Louise Hege Walser. He was owner/operator of Walser Rentals.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Mathis Walser of the home; one son, Derick Walser and his special friend, Tracy Bell, of Lexington; three grandchildren, Ashley, Cameron and Tanner Walser; his parents of Lexington; one brother, Ray Eugene Walser and his wife, Karen, of Lexington; one sister, Julia Beth Waitman of Lexington; one sister-in-law, Lorene Sink of Lexington; two aunts, Linda Hege and Carol Branon, both of Lexington; one uncle, Bradford Walser and his wife, Thelma, of Lexington; and a host of nieces and nephew.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the home.
